counselling
what is counselling?
The Counseling we practice at freelieve.me originated with Carl Rogers: a psychologist who since the 1950's has used deep listening techniques to help his clients find the most suitable path for them in self-healing from the emotional distress they presented.
In modern society, in continuous, forced and accelerated evolution, the discomforts that counseling can resolve are often the same which, if neglected, can degrade the quality of life and generate long-term unhappiness. They are discomforts that in time extinguish enthusiasm, limit expressiveness and freedom of action, increase a sense of inadequacy, insecurity thus establishing a fertile psychological condition for states of chronic sadness. Similarly, the excesses of anger motivated by frustration and anxiety can push a normally balanced person to actions that they themselves do not consider appropriate. Once any biological and organic causes of the malaise have been excluded, which must always be resolved on a medical level, when an individual feels the need for professional help to clarify, deal with and dissolve the emotional knots affecting the body-mind system, counseling is of great help.
What is "Metacorporeal" Counseling?
The adjective "metacorporeal" associated with counseling is specific to a professional training based on an integrated approach between deep listening and body mediation, with the aim of dissolving the blocks of vitality that have become more or less recent in the customer's history. Metacorporea® does not involve the use of medicines or analysis or interpretation therapies, but rather an exploration of the "here and now" of the client, the protagonist of his emotions, actions and thoughts, with the aim of helping him to find the harmonic balance of all its components. Although the process is self-healing, clients benefit from a professional counselor to be able to stay "on track" in the Metacorporeal process. For this reason, the operators follow a formally codified training, based on neuro-physiology studies of the energetic curve, functional breathing and Rogersian counseling.
